In Urdu, zaiwar means jewelry. A blanket word to describe everything from the simplest glass churiyan to the 22k gold sets worn by South-Asian brides.

There's an unspoken art of adornment in South Asia. For centuries, our women have decorated every part of their body. Our hair, wrists, ankles — nothing is forgotten. While the West continues down a path of minimalism, I hope we never leave this art behind. Jee bhar ke sajao.

Our gold & silver plated jewelry is handcrafted and slow-produced in Pakistan. Our intentional and nostalgic designs are inspired by a deep love of girlhood and Pakistani traditions.

With love, ZAIWAR

WHAT'S "JEE BHAR KE SAJAO"

جی بھر کے سجاؤ

or romanized, jee bhar ke sajao, loosely translates to "decorate to your heart's content". Desis are the original maximalists, so at ZAIWAR, there's no room for minimalism. We celebrate being adorned from head to toe.

BRAND FOUNDER

Though I grew up in Canada, my heart has always been deeply connected to the rich traditions of my Pakistani heritage.

From a young age, my mother instilled in me a deep appreciation for design and sustainability—values that often felt at odds with the fast-paced, instant-gratification culture of the West.

For years, I struggled to find a creative outlet that truly reflected these values, until I finally launched ZAIWAR in September 2024.

This brand was born from my passion for showcasing intricate Pakistani craftsmanship, while embracing a mindful approach to design.

I've always had a love for the spirit of girlhood—the shared experiences and the bonds we form. Through ZAIWAR, I hope to unite South Asian women by honouring our rich cultural traditions and fostering a space where our voices and stories are celebrated.
